The United Equestrian Conference on Monday announced its Riders of the Month for March.

EQUITATION ON THE FLAT RIDER OF THE MONTH
Nora Gray • SMU

  • Went 3-1 for the Mustangs last month in equitation on the flat with two Most Outstanding Player honors.
  • Earned an 83-79 victory over No. 1 Auburn on March 2.
  • Defeated her UT Martin opponent, 165-146, in the opening round of the United Equestrian Conference Championship on March 22, while also being named the event’s Most Outstanding Player.
  • Earned a 147-110 victory over Fresno State on March 23 in the championship meet at the United Equestrian Conference Championship while winning her second MOP of the weekend.

EQUITATION OVER FENCES RIDER OF THE MONTH
Gabrielle Fournier • Delaware State

  • Went 4-0 for the Hornets during the month of March with one Most Outstanding Player award.
  • Earned a 55-40 victory over No. 6 Oklahoma State on March 1.
  • Defeated her South Dakota State opponent, 86-85, on March 2 while also being named the event’s Most Outstanding Player.
  • Picked up an 82-79 victory over No. 4 South Carolina on March 8.
  • Earned a 157-134 victory over No. 9 Fresno State in the opening round of the United Equestrian Conference Championship on March 22.

HORSEMANSHIP RIDER OF THE MONTH
Mallory Vroegh • SMU

  • Went 3-1 for the Mustangs last month in horsemanship with one Most Outstanding Player award.
  • Earned a 73.5-72.5 victory over No. 1 Auburn on March 2.
  • Defeated her UT Martin opponent, 153.0-139.5, in the opening round of the United Equestrian Conference Championship on March 22.
  • Earned a 156.5-150.5 victory over Fresno State on March 23 in the championship meet at the United Equestrian Conference Championship.
  • Named Horsemanship Most Outstanding Player in SMU’s 14-2 victory over Fresno State in the UEC Championship Meet.

REINING RIDER OF THE MONTH
Amber Van Segbrook • Delaware State

  • Went 3-1 for the Hornets last month with two Most Outstanding Player honors.
  • Earned a 69-68 victory over No. 6 Oklahoma State on March 1 while also being named the event’s Most Outstanding Player.
  • Won her second straight Most Outstanding Player award on March 2 when she defeated her South Dakota State opponent, 72-67.5.
  • Defeated her Fresno State opponent, 133-121, on March 22 in the opening round the United Equestrian Conference Championship.
