UEC ANNOUNCES RIDERS OF THE WEEK FOR NOVEMBER 19

WACO, Texas - The United Equestrian Conference announced its Riders of the Week on Monday.

 

EQUITATION ON THE FLAT RIDER OF THE WEEK

Vivian Yowan • SMU

  • Went 1-0 for the Mustangs last week in equitation on the flat.
  • Earned an 85-74 victory on the road against Delaware State.
  • Named Most Outstanding Performer with an event-high margin of victory of 11 points.
  • Was the only SMU flat rider to win her head-to-head match-up.

 

EQUITATION OVER FENCES RIDER OF THE WEEK

Devin Seek • SMU

  • Went 1-0 for the Mustangs last week.
  • Earned an 86-82 victory on the road against Delaware State.
  • Posted the highest jumping score (86) of the meet and highest hunter seat score of the meet.
  • Named Most Outstanding Performer in SMU’s victory over the Hornets.

 

HORSEMANSHIP RIDER OF THE WEEK

Megan Waldron • SMU

  • Went 1-0 for the Mustangs last week.
  • Earned a 74-69.5 victory on the road against Delaware State.
  • Named Most Outstanding Performer in Friday’s win over the Hornets.
  • Tied for the highest horsemanship score (74) of the meet.

 

REINING RIDER OF THE WEEK

Shelbe Jarrett • Delaware State

  • Went 1-0 for the Hornets last week in reining.
  • Earned a 73.5-72 victory over SMU to win her head-to-head match-up.
  • Was the only Delaware State reiner to win her point.
  • Posted the highest reining score (73.5) of the meet.
