ABOUT THE SHOW

The Plaidcast is a weekly horse podcast hosted by Piper Klemm, PhD, publisher of The Plaid Horse magazine, and USEF “R” judge, rider, trainer and Plaid Horse editor Sissy Wicks. Guests include Olympian equestrians, top hunter/jumper and equitation riders, trainers, horse show managers and industry insiders. Plus in depth convos on topics that matter: horsemanship, collegiate equestrian, the state of our sport and horse show how to’s for riders at every level. One episode each month is devoted to the mental side of your ride with nationally recognized mental skills coach and author Tonya Johnston (Inside Your Ride).

• August 12, 2017: Join The Plaidcast NCEA Update Edition Co-Hosts Tom O’Mara and Piper Klemm as they discuss the “Dog Days” of summer in NCAA Collegiate Equestrian world.  Although they are Dog Days, they are action packed for Collegiate Equestrians as they continue riding, training and competing at exciting events highlighting NCAA Equestrian all summer long.  Additionally, they get to speak with NCEA Reining Rider of the Year and First Team All American, Hannah Mitchell of Oklahoma State University about her big win so far this summer.
