In the month of February, Kirsten was named a recipient of the Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award, which the conference refers to as its highest academic honor. "Kirsten epitomizes what a student athlete should be. She excels in the classroom and you would have to search far and wide to find a more determined and hardworking individual. I am very proud to be called her coach" said Oklahoma State Head Coach, Larry Sanchez.
