WACO, Texas – Georgia remains in the No. 1 position in the latest National Collegiate Equestrian Association Farnam team rankings released Tuesday, October 24th, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.
The Bulldogs took home a road win against #6 TCU last weekend. The team has a week off before its second home meet of the year against South Carolina, November 3rd.
SMU has matched its highest ranking in program history this week climbing up to the #4 spot after remaining undefeated with an 11-9 win against Oklahoma State last week. The Mustangs hit the road for the first time this season on November 9th for the UT-Martin Tournament which will feature four conference showdowns between SMU, UT-Martin, Delaware State, and Fresno State.
Texas A&M and Auburn stay put in the No. 2 and 3 positions. Despite Oklahoma State’s loss, it was one of two teams last week that swept all four MOP honors, alongside the Auburn Tigers.
Fresno’s win against South Dakota State helped move them up to No. 6, jumping ahead of TCU and Baylor after their respective losses last week. UT-Martin and South Dakota State remain in the top 10 after showing strong performances so far this season.
