TEXAS A&M REGAINS TOP SPOT IN NCEA RANKINGS

WACO, Texas — Texas A&M regained the No. 1 spot in the latest National Collegiate Equestrian Association rankings released Tuesday, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.

Baylor had been the No. 1 team since the first spring rankings were released Jan. 31. Texas A&M closed out the fall season in the top position after first ascending to No. 1 on Oct. 26. The Bears suffered a loss at Fresno State on Friday while the Aggies did not compete last weekend.

A&M is in action Saturday competing at No. 5 Georgia, while No. 4 Auburn takes on No. 7 South Carolina in another SEC showdown that day in Blythewood, S.C. Tenth-ranked TCU takes on No. 9 New Mexico State on Friday in Las Cruces, N.M., and South Dakota State will take on both TCU and NMSU on Friday and Saturday as well.
