WACO, Texas — Baylor and Texas A&M remained at Nos. 1 and 2 in the latest National Collegiate Equestrian Association rankings released Tuesday, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.
The remainder of the top-10 saw a complete reshuffling from last week. Oklahoma State and Auburn flipped places with OSU going to third and the Tigers to fourth. SMU jumped a spot to No. 5, as did Georgia and South Carolina to Nos. 6 and 7. Fresno State dropped from fifth to eighth, and New Mexico State and TCU remained at Nos. 9 and 10.
A lighter weekend of competition lies ahead for the NCEA with a pair of competitions on Friday and Saturday. SMU takes on Fresno State on Friday in Fresno, Calif., at 10 a.m. PT, and TCU will face Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla., at 10 a.m. CT. Baylor competes at Fresno State the next day at 11 a.m. PT and UT Martin is at Auburn for a 1 p.m. CT match-up.
