WACO, Texas — The National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Tuesday announced the first national team rankings for the 2017 spring semester, as determined by the NCEA Selection Committee.
Baylor moved into the top position after finishing the fall at No. 2, while Texas A&M slide from No. 1 to No. 2. The Bears host Oklahoma State on Saturday and the Aggies travel to Dallas to take on SMU.
Auburn held steady at No. 3 and Oklahoma State moved up a spot from No. 5 to fourth. SMU and Fresno State also moved up a spot from the final fall rankings to hold the Nos. 5 and 6 positions. Georgia fell to No. 7 after finishing the fall at No. 4.
Rounding out the top-10 are South Carolina at No. 8, New Mexico State at No. 9 and TCU at No. 10.
