AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 2 Auburn equestrian team defeated No. 5 Oklahoma State, 14-5, on Saturday at the Auburn University Horse Center. The Tigers (3-0, 1-0 SEC) earned all four MOP honors while winning three events and tying in Reining.

“This was a huge win for us and every event rode well,” head coach Greg Williams said. “When you get all four MOPs in a meet like this against the number five team in the country, you know you are riding well. We are a really good team, and we have confidence that we are going to win, but we are making sure we stay engaged and fight to get every point that we can. That shows how talented they are and how focused they are. It is early in the season, but I can see we are going to continue to make improvements and be very good.”

In Equitation over Fences, freshman Hayley Iannotti defeated Katie Jones, 78-75, before freshman Caitlin Boyle topped Maggie Drysch, 86-65. Senior Elizabeth Benson toppled Carly Barrick, 87-40, and junior Ashley Foster earned MOP honors after defeating Jorden Davis, 66-39.
