No. 8 TCU defeated No. 9 New Mexico State at Turning Point Ranch on Thursday, 12-5.

“Big shout out to the Hunt Seat team for a sweep," TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield said. "They were very deserving of it and maybe even a little bit over due. We also had really strong rides on the Western side. We really want to tip our hat to Carley Montemuro on winning an MOP.”

Molly Peddicord earned her second-straight MOP honor in Equitation over Fences, improving to 3-0 overall on the young season. Jayme Omand dropped Remington Wilkie, 83-40, while Carley Barnett and Emery Hanson both earned points Thursday in the discipline.

In Equitation on the Flat, senior Nicole Diamantis upended Remington Wilkie, 85-56. With the win, she earned her first MOP honor of the season. Kari Hancock, Omand and Peddicord also won their points for the Frogs dropping Grace McMurry, Elizabeth Solomon and Chelsea Brady, respectively.

On the Western side, Carley Montemuro was dominant in Reining, capturing a point for the Purple and White en route to earning her first MOP accolade of the year. Chantz Stewart and Brooke Boyle also won their points for the Purple and White to secure a 3-2 win.
