MARTIN, Tenn. – The No. 4 Auburn equestrian team defeated UT-Martin, 13-7, on Friday at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Pavilion.

“We had an awesome first outing,” head coach Greg Williams said. “I think with only a couple of exceptions, the points we gave up are easy fixes. We had some great rides. We won three out of the four MOPs. I was excited before and now I as excited as ever. UTM put on a great meet and had some talented riders and I really happy we got the win.”

In Equitation over Fences, freshman Caitlin Boyle defeated Rachel Crinklaw, 81-78. Senior Elizabeth Benson topped Ali Scholfield, 83-72, to earn MOP honors and junior Ashley Foster bettered Reiley Wilson, 79-74.
